I finally finish wrapping all of my gifts. I'm ready for Christmas. I thought I would share a little peek of my talents and my moms too. I didn't put up my tree this year, so my gifts will go under one of her trees this year. She usually puts up four trees every year, but this year there were only three and here they are.

New Addition | Handmade Burlap Elf Stockings

As promised my giant handmade elf stocking have finally arrived in the shop this year. I'm so excited. I finally accomplished one of my goals for this year...use your god given talents. I'm so proud of myself. I remember sharing a DIY tutorial on how to make these on my MYFAVORITEPIECES blog a couple of years ago. I made three stockings at that time. I decided to sell them now,because everyone wanted me to make them one. I'm starting with brown burlap for now,but I plan to add more colors and fabrics to this collection later on.

If you have a god given talent use it or god will take it away.

Yay! My first sale of the New Year. Wrapped and ready to ship. I think I'm off to a good start in this new year. I have already set some goals for Vintage Arm Candy this year. I'm ready to expand my business. I'm going to incorporate some handmade pieces in the shop this year.

Getting Ready for Christmas

Christmas is approaching fast and I haven't purchased one gift yet. I am glad we pulled names this year, which will make my shopping experience easier.I'm getting up early tomorrow to shop, because its just too wet today...so I'll prep my handmade burlap elf stockings instead.

Good afternoon! Today I'm off for Presidents day and enjoying some much needed time off to catch up on a few things. As I spend this day relaxing and working, I'm sipping on white tea and organizing my mountains of old fashion mags. Hopefully I'll have time to get some new bags in the SHOP this week.

Pies Pies Pies

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my family yesterday. Everything was so delicious, I just could not stop eating.I enjoyed the table full of delicious desserts the most. We had so many dessert choices, so I cut a slice of them all. I cannot wait to eat more of these delicious treats today,especially my brother-in-law's blackberry pie.
